An Operations Manager is needed to oversee all operational aspects of running center(s) in the assigned market. Responsibilities include planning staff management budget management maintaining relationships with referring groups and ongoing customer service functions. This position is also responsible for meeting quality and operational goals (i.e. efficiency productivity costs) for the market.
This is a fulltime salaried position working day shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
40 Center Operations
Remains visible at centers and has an understanding of a centers morale and workload
Maintains productive relationships with centers customer base in defined market through delivery of extraordinary customer service
Arranges appropriate physician coverage for all contrast and sedation studies
Interfaces with Radiologists to create and maintain uptodate protocol manuals for all modalities
Works with sales team patients and referring offices to ensure satisfaction
Attend sales calls and lunch meetings with sales team providing operations knowledge
Assists in targeting payor relationship opportunities in the market
Monitors payor referral activity
Interfaces with Medical Director SVP/GM and/or all technical and administrative staff to ensure effective teamwork and efficient center operations
Administers quality programs and meets or exceeds key quality and productivity measures in patient service customer (referral) service clinical programs and administrative functions
Maintains a safe environment for patients technologists radiologists and other associates with assistance from the center safety coordinator
Assists marketing department with development of mailing collateral for defined market
Ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines
30 Staff Management
Oversees and assists in training of new associates and supervisors
Manages staff performance evaluations compensation recommendations and development plans
Leads regular staff meetings and employee oneonone discussions
Supports and conducts continuing education efforts for technologists and nurses
Ensures technologists maintain CEU credits registry status CPR credits etc.
Implements effective staff retention strategies
Promotes teamwork among center associates management and radiologists
25 Center Planning
Develops and implements programs goals objectives policies and procedures
Manages center budgets and financial decisions
Monitors performance and profitability of services offered
Communicates regularly with management and staff regarding performance and events
5 Other Duties
Completes other tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements
Required:
Associates degree
Five 5 years radiology experience
Three 3 years management experience with direct reports
Microsoft Office Suite experience
Valid drivers license and proof of current insurance
Preferred:
Bachelors degree in a related field
Two 2 years marketing and sales experience in healthcare
Radiologic Technologist Certification
