Job Description
Position: Field Service Technician
NARIK CONSULTING LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to join our client team in Elgin IL. As a Field Service Technician you will be responsible for providing onsite technical support and maintenance services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to client sites to install troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective repair and maintenance strategies
- Conduct training sessions for clients on proper usage and maintenance of equipment
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of all service activities
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and recommendations on equipment status
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Requirements:
- Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent is preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Technical degree or certification in a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in the Packaging Equipment field desired but not necessary
- Hands on experience with ElectroMechanical experience pneumatics AC/DC motor control PLCs VFDs.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
