About the Role

We are hiring Systems Engineers Software Applications (IV) to join our team in Fort Worth Texas. This role serves as a technical specialist supporting the development of commandandcontrol software applications at the subsystems level. The Systems Engineer will work closely with Product Management Solution/System Architects and Software Developers to transform stakeholder requirements into structured system and subsystem requirements that guide the software design. The level of responsibility complexity and leadership involvement will scale based on the assigned level (IV).

Job Duties

Systems Engineering & Requirements Management

• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather process and track stakeholder goals and KPIs.
• Translate product goals and KPIs into detailed system requirements for commandandcontrol application features and functions.
• Develop and manage functional and nonfunctional software requirements ensuring compliance with ISO IEC and functional safety regulations.
• Generate interface control documents to ensure proper interactions between different subsystems.
• Use Jama for requirements management and tracking system documentation.

Software Applications & System Integration

• Work on lowlevel application development at the subsystems level.
• Support system integration test plans and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) before Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and production.
• Oversee and validate integrations using Windowsbased software environments.
• Ensure compatibility between system components using REST APIs gRPC and MQTT (as applicable).

Validation & Testing

• Ensure system requirements are validated through hardwareintheloop (HIL) testing simulations and automated validation tools.
• Assist in the development and of FAT and SAT test plans.
• Identify and troubleshoot integration issues between onboard and offboard systems in a productionlike environment.

Communication & Process Management

• Communicate system requirements and updates via formal documentation Agile sprint meetings and Confluence.
• Participate in conceptual design discussions and design reviews to ensure traceability of requirements and compliance.
• Contribute to business development through proposal inputs meetings and presentations to potential customers.
• Travel as <10 to customer facilities test facilities and field sites for troubleshooting and design validation.

Requirements by Level

Systems Engineer I

• 02 years of experience in requirements writing validation or software integration.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Strong problemsolving skills and ability to write clear structured system requirements.
• Familiarity with Jama Confluence and requirements tracking tools.

Systems Engineer II

• 35 years of experience in systems engineering requirements elicitation or software application testing.
• Experience writing functional and nonfunctional requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO IEC and functional safety standards.
• Proficiency in Windowsbased software environments.

Systems Engineer III

• 57 years of experience in subsystemlevel application development and validation.
• Experience supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Proficiency in integration testing validation frameworks and simulation environments.
• Understanding of API integrations (REST gRPC MQTT) and hardware/software interfacing.

Systems Engineer IV

• 7 years of experience leading system integration efforts validation projects and technical teams.
• Experience managing crossfunctional teams for validation risk assessment and compliance.
• Ability to oversee complex integration projects between software and robotics platforms.
• Expertise in regulatory compliance HIL testing and validation automation.

Systems Engineer V

• 10 years of experience in technical leadership systems architecture and complex integrations.
• Proven ability to drive strategic validation initiatives and highlevel system decisions.
• Experience with enterpriselevel software applications robotics or automation systems.
• Ability to influence longterm validation strategies and technology roadmaps.
