About The Role
We are looking for a Principal Engineer UI to join our global technology team. In this role youll lead frontend architecture across multiple products drive engineering excellence and mentor a growing team of frontend developers. Youll design and optimize scalable React applications build robust UI component systems and define best practices that ensure a seamless accessible and performant user experience.

This is a highimpact handson leadership role where youll collaborate closely with crossfunctional stakeholders to bring intuitive and innovative interfaces to life.

What Youll Do

  • Architect and lead scalable React applications using TypeScript and modern frontend tooling
  • Design and build modular reusable UI components and maintain a shared component library
  • Optimize performance using advanced techniques like memoization virtualization and lazy loading
  • Define and enforce accessibility (WCAG/ARIA) responsiveness and UI consistency standards
  • Integrate GraphQL APIs and manage realtime data workflows
  • Implement comprehensive testing strategies using Jest Cypress and React Testing Library
  • Collaborate with product design and backend teams to define and deliver product features
  • Guide the evolution of our design system and frontend architecture
  • Mentor engineers driving a culture of clean code continuous improvement and technical mastery
  • Contribute to strategic planning and engineering roadmap decisions

What We Need

  • 8 years of frontend engineering experience including architectural leadership on complex products
  • Deep expertise in React TypeScript JavaScript (ES6 and frontend system design
  • Proven success in optimizing UI performance at scale
  • Strong understanding of GraphQL APIs including realtime interactions
  • Experience with UI design systems and componentdriven development workflows
  • Proficiency in styling technologies like Tailwind CSS SCSS/SASS and Styled Components
  • Fluency in build tools and version control (Webpack Babel NPM/Yarn Git)
  • Handson experience with accessibility implementation and responsive design
  • Passion for mentoring and building worldclass engineering teams
  • Strong communication strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities

Compensation:
Invisible is committed to fair and competitive pay ensuring that compensation reflects both market conditions and the value each team member brings. Our salary structure accounts for regional differences in cost of living while maintaining internal equity.

An Invisible Talent Acquisition Partner can provide more information on which locations are included in each of our geographic pay tiers during the interview process. For candidates outside the U.S. compensation will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions and costofliving differentials.

Bonuses and equity are included in offers above entry level. Final compensation is determined by a combination of factors including location jobrelated experience skills knowledge internal pay equity and overall market conditions.
