Equipment Specialist Albany GA
Alexandria Insights is seeking a MidLevel Equipment Specialist to perform provisioning and logistics activities in Albany GA to support systems/equipment managed by Marine Corps Systems Command. Most activities will be performed at government facilities aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany GA however travel will be required to other CONUS and OCONUS locations. Duties include:
- Validate technical data and drawings for accuracy and verify provisioning requirements compliance.
- Prepare parts data in an acceptable format for Bill of Material loading into TDM Catalyst resolve validation issues identify TDMCatalyst issues and submit support cases.
- Assist with planning and management of spares repair parts and supplies for acquisition programs.
- Review and draft updates to Technical Publications Technical Manuals (TMs) Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists (RPSTL) Stock Lists Instruction Type publications etc. in accordance with (IAW) military standards.
- Monitor/manage technical publications throughout development review signature and publication.
- Develop logistics documentation for acquisition milestones decisions and events.
- Monitor PDREP and recommend PQDR solutions and responses.
- Conduct periodic inventories of military equipment and provide inventory management reports.
- Conduct technical research and respond to DLA 339 Engineering Support Requests.
- Bachelors Degree; with 5 to 9 years of relevant experience; 5 additional years combination of education professional training or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Foundational or advanced DAWIA certification or equivalency in life cycle logistics preferred.
- Technical or handson user experience with military systems.
- Experience with MCSC acquisition policies and processes; LOGCOM sustainment policies processes and procedures; and Marine Corps maintenance and supply chain management operations.
- Ability to work independently collaboratively and within integrated product teams in physical and virtual settings.
- Proficiency with Marine Corps enterprise logistics applications MS Office SharePoint and TEAMS.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills gogetter attitude and a passion for the Marine Corps mission.
- Strong oral and written communication analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
- DoD SECRET clearance is required.
Salary range: $75K $95K
