Title: Digital Transformation Analyst
Location: Tempe AZ or Anchorage AK preferred; Remote possible for candidates in AZ WA or nearby states
Employment Type: 6month contracttohire
Our client is undergoing a digital transformation to modernize systems streamline processes and better serve internal and external stakeholders. Theyre seeking a critical thinker and problemsolver to help lead this change. This role blends strategic planning with handson and requires someone comfortable navigating both business and technical conversations.
Youll work crossfunctionally with IT finance operations and consultantsevaluating pain points designing solutions and building tools like dashboards and workflows to drive smarter decisions and operational efficiency.
Your role:
- Lead or support digital transformation initiatives across business units
- Evaluate current systems and workflows to identify gaps and architect modern solutions
- Translate business needs and requests into actionable system process or data recommendations
- Build clean effective Power BI dashboards to support datadriven decisions
- Use Alteryx to automate workflows and streamline data preparation
- Perform data modeling and write SQL DAX and Power Query M to support analytics
- Document processes and requirements to support system improvements
- Ensure data accuracy through regular validation and quality checks
- Contribute to daily collaboration team problemsolving and continuous improvement
What youve got:
- Strong critical thinking and problemassessment skills
- 2 years of experience using Alteryx for data preparation or automation (required)
- 2 years of experience with Power BI including dashboard design and report building
- Experience with DAX Power Query M and SQL
- Proven ability to work with business stakeholders to scope and deliver impactful solutions
- Experience in process improvement automation or digital transformation
- Collaborative mindset and comfort working across functions and disciplines
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools like Teams and SharePoint (preferred)
- Experience in finance operations auditing or regulated environments is a plus
- Eagerness to learn and support tools like Power Apps Power Automate or SmartSheet
- Bachelors degree in Finance Business Economics IT or a related field
