Position Summary:
Join the Mathnasium team as a Math Instructor where you will teach math in a fun engaging and dynamic environment. As an Instructor youll use the Mathnasium Method to help students develop confidence mastery and a love for math. Youll work in a collaborative teamteaching setting that supports students unique learning needs while building your own instructional and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction & Student Engagement:
Deliver individualized math instruction using the Mathnasium Method.
Motivate and engage students during each learning session.
Evaluate and document student progress providing positive constructive feedback.
Correct student work and explain concepts in a clear supportive manner.
Keep students on task redirecting attention when needed.

Collaboration & Communication:
Work as part of a collaborative teamteaching environment.
Communicate student progress and needs to the center leadership team.
Participate in training and development sessions to enhance instructional skills.

Classroom & Administrative Support:
Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing learning materials and organizing student binders.
Maintain a clean organized and welcoming learning environment.
Ensure adherence to Mathnasiums procedures and student behavior expectations.

Required Qualifications:
**Educational Expertise:** Strong math skills up to PreCalculus (higherlevel math preferred for advanced instructors).
Ability to adapt instruction to students individual learning needs.

**Engaging Teaching Style:** Ability to connect with students and make math fun.
Clear effective communication skills for explaining math concepts.

**Team Player & Professional Attitude:** Professional responsible and dependable.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members students and parents.

Preferred Experience:
Experience teaching tutoring or mentoring students.
Previous work in an educational environment is a plus.

Compensation: $18.00 $21.00 per hour
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing LLC (Mathnasium). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center the franchisee will be your employer not Mathnasium.
