Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk management policies procedures and frameworks in line with industry best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance and operational risks across the business.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to all relevant laws regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare and present detailed risk reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure corrective actions are taken where noncompliance is identified.
- Collaborate with different departments to foster a culture of risk awareness and ethical behavior.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Keep up to date with regulatory changes and ensure timely updates to company policies and training programs.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Risk Management Compliance Law Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a risk and compliance role preferably within a corporate or financial environment.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk frameworks (e.g. ISO 31000 King IV etc..
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Exceptional communication and reportwriting abilities.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues.
