About the Role:
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our crossfunctional product squad and play a critical role in translating cuttingedge data science into realworld product features. In this role youll serve as a vital link between product teams data scientists data engineers and platform engineering to ensure that AIdriven features are not only technically robust but also aligned with user needs and product goals.
You will be handson in both validating product hypotheses through data and driving the implementation of models into production. Your focus will span from understanding data distributions and surfacing actionable insights to coordinating model development cycles managing edge cases and iterating quickly on proofofconcepts for emerging product opportunities. This is a collaborative role with high visibility and impact across our AI and engineering ecosystem.
Day to Day:
- Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to validate product hypotheses via exploratory data analysis (e.g. examining distributions segmentations and edgecase behaviors);
- Coordinate with individual data scientists across multiple product areas to align modeling efforts with product timelines and evolving requirements;
- Facilitate communication and integration between data science data engineering and platform engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment and lifecycle management of models;
- Identify and address edge cases and model limitations recommend updates or improvements to both model logic and surrounding product behavior;
- Build lightweight POCs and datadriven prototypes to explore and test new product ideas and features;
- Contribute to the backend development supporting existing models and product workflows.
What you bring to the table:
- Strong programming skills in Python or equivalent with experience working across the stack (data pipelines model integration APIs etc..
- Deep understanding of machine learning fundamentals and practical model evaluation techniques.
- Proven ability to explore interpret and communicate data insights clearly and effectively.
- Experience collaborating with crossfunctional teams and aligning technical work to product objectives.
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills written spoken and interpersonal.
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience working with the healthcare industry or healthcare / medical data;
- Handson experience with tools such as Databricks for collaborative development and model lifecycle management;
- Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructureascode tools for managing production environments.
