Job Description
Assistant Site Director Before and After School Program at Kent Island Elementary School
At AlphaBEST were committed to supporting your professional growth. We provide certification training for Group Leaders and Site Directors. If you dont yet meet the 90hour certification requirement dont worrywell cover the cost for you to complete it!
Hiring Bonus:
- $500 Total Bonus $250 after 90 days $250 at the end of the school year)
Location:
Kent Island Elementary School 110 Elementary Way Stevensville MD
Hours:
- AM Shift: 6:15 AM 9:00 AM
- PM Shift: 3:15 PM 6:00 PM
Pay & Benefits:
- $19.00 per hour

State Licensing Qualifications:
To qualify you must meet one of the following criteria:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 credits from an accredited college or university
Additionally you must have one of the following:
- 6 semester hours 90 clock hours or equivalent approved preservice training including 45 hours in schoolage curriculum and 45 hours in child growth and development
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential from the Council for Professional Recognition
- Approval as a teacher by MSDE for early childhood education (including Nursery Grade 3 with at least 6 semester hours in early childhood education
- MSDE or state certification for early childhood education (including Nursery Grade 3
Experience Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience working directly with children in an approved setting (such as a licensed childcare center school or similar environment)
- OR 1 year as a registered family child care provider
