Engineering Support Specialist
Aversan Inc. is a trusted multiservice engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leadingedge and reliable safetycritical electronics and software systems to the aerospace defence and space industries.
We are currently seeking a qualified Engineering Support Specialist. The role involves providing technical leadership and handson support for the development testing and troubleshooting of optical test systems in a controlled crossfunctional engineering environment.
Location: Cambridge ON
Job Type: Onsite
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineering teams with respect to optical test systems.
- Work with crossfunctional teams to develop and execute project plans associated with building and testing optical hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering problems associated with manufacturing and testing of optical systems.
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards and customer requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and efficiency.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in an advanced technical role providing test engineering support for optical product related test systems.
- Diploma Familiar with standard concepts practices and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
