At Aurecon we are looking for a passionate and innovative Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Industrial EI&C team in Sydney. This role is your chance to work on highimpact cuttingedge projects across Sydney designing crucial infrastructure for some of our most exciting clients.
Key Responsibilities to Bring Ideas to Life
In this role youll play an integral part in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for major industrial projects. Youll collaborate with a diverse team on exciting fastpaced projects that focus on shaping a sustainable future.
We are seeking someone with experience in heavy industrial and process plant projects a solid understanding of key Australian Standards and the ability to engage with clients and manage projects. Your expertise in electrical system design particularly in concept and detailed design phases as well as experience with power systems software will be key to your success.
At Aurecon our Industrial EI&C team is dedicated to creating cuttingedge solutions for electrical instrumentation and control systems helping to transform industries with a focus on sustainability.
What Were Looking For
Youll bring at least 8 years of experience in industrial projects (energy water or mining sectors) along with a degree in Electrical Engineering (CPEng preferred). Youll have strong knowledge of inplant electrical distribution (MV/LV systems) motor control systems and power system modelling software (such as SKM Powertools ETAP PowerCAD).
A deep understanding of relevant standards like AS/NZS 3000 AS/NZS 61439 and AS/NZS 2067 will be important in ensuring highquality project delivery across all phasesfrom concept to detailed design. Your excellent communication skills both written and verbal will help you successfully collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interact with project managers engineers and designers.
