Job Description

Advancement Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY
The Advancement Coordinator will play a critical role in the mission driven advancement of the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education. Working with the Director of Advancement the Advancement Coordinator will assist with the implementation of the advancement plans of the institution. Duties will include daily management of donors and community relationships. This position will coordinate plans and programs for events advancement fundraising annual giving and other institutional support programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Management of administrative support for ACHE fundraising and alumni engagement efforts including but not limited to:
    • Working in coordination with the Director of Advancement and the Director of Special Events and Alumni Engagement on the management of the following Constituent Records Management systems:
      • Blackbaud Raisers Edge NXT
      • OneCause
      • 360Alumni
    • Provide staff support before and during events
    • Leadership role in postevent data entry logistics
    • Coordination and production of habitual documents such as donation thank you letters tax letters donor birthday cards
    • Handling schedule coordination with our Board of Advocates and their quarterly gathering
    • Collaborating with the Director of Advancement and the Director of Special Events and Alumni Engagement on email solicitations fundraising submission writing student/alumni constituent engagement and other topics as needed
    • Collaborate with the Controller quarterly to reconcile gifts between Blackbaud and Colleague.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Director of Advancement or their designee
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • One year of administrative experience in higher education nonprofit or business setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five or more years of highlevel administrative experience in higher education nonprofit or business setting
Required knowledge skills and abilities
  • Teamfirst positive attitude willing to fully participate in a dynamic environment
  • Exceptionally strong oral and written communication skills
  • Project management experience and skills including organization prioritization and time management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite
  • Display professionalism in all communications and interactions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion

Physical and Sensory Abilities
  • May be exposed to short intermittent and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties.
  • May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies to include but not limited to pens pencils calculators computer keyboards telephone etc.
  • May be required to transport oneself to other campus offices conference rooms and on occasion to offcampus sites to attend meetings conferences workshops seminars etc.
  • May require significant travel or work away from campus.
  • Requires attendance at events representing ACHE both within as well as outside of the college setting.
  • Frequently required to work at a desk conference table or in meetings of various configurations.
  • Frequently required to see for purposes of reading matter.
  • Frequently required to hear and understand speech at normal levels.
  • Occasionally required to lift items in a normal office environment.
  • Frequently required to operate office and presentation equipment.
