POSITION SUMMARY
Were looking for a creative and detailoriented Copywriter to craft compelling copy across web digital packaging and ecommerce platforms. This role requires someone who can adapt their tone and voice to resonate with a variety of audiences including parents kids and toy enthusiasts. The ideal candidate thrives in a fastpaced environment has a passion for storytelling and understands how to deliver copy that drives engagement and conversions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop creative onbrand copy for web digital and social media that excites and informs customers.
- Write engaging and persuasive product descriptions for packaging ecommerce platforms and catalogs.
- Collaborate with designers marketing teams and crossfunctional teams to align messaging with visual assets and brand goals.
- Optimize digital content for SEO and ecommerce performance including keyword research and integration.
- Create storytellingfocused content for brand campaigns that highlight our mission and product innovation.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure consistency in tone style and grammar.
- Stay uptodate on industry trends competitor messaging and audience insights to deliver fresh and innovative ideas.
- Collaborate through communication and teamwork with coworkers management clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Exercise sound business judgment.
- Work independently and collaboratively and manage time effectively in order to meet changing deadlines and priorities.
- Treat all employees guests and customers and others affiliated with our business with respect.
- Conform and abide by all laws regulations policies work procedures instructions and VTechs Rules of Engagement.
- Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.
- Other duties as needed or required.
POSITION SKILLS
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of copy including web packaging and digital assets.
- Exceptional writing editing and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and experience writing for ecommerce platforms like Amazon Shopify or similar.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Confident approach to creative with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Collaborative spirit with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for toys play and creativity is a must!
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 preferred.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- 3 years of progressively responsible experience in the area of professional copywriting ideally within consumer goods toys or ecommerce
- Bachelors degree in English Communications Marketing or a related field; or any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills knowledge and ability to perform essential functions of this role.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a fulltime position 40 hours per week Monday through Friday. Core hours will be set between employee and manager and will be based on business needs. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL
Travel is primarily local during the business day although outofthearea and overnight travel may be expected 5 of the time.
RELOCATION
Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.

Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
The US base salary range for this fulltime position is $68000$80000 bonus potential excellent benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including jobrelated skills experience relevant education or training and maintaining internal equity.
