Job Description
Introduction
Our reputable client in the financial services has an opportunity for an Actuarial to assist with pricing and managing the risk in respect of new and existing business to ensure profitability and sustainability. The area is a highpressure environment and the suitable candidate needs to be able to produce high quality work while ensuring that tight deadlines are met.
Requirements include (but are not limited to):
- A Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science Statistics Business Sciences or Business Mathematics.
- Minimum 3 years of actuarial modeling and pricing expertise within Shortterm Insurance.
- Ability to perform statistical analyses model monitor and analyze data and develop models or programs for model building and analyses; interpreting results of models and analyses.
- Ability to perform more complex analyses as assigned.
- Ability to compile and categorize increasingly complex data and documents and verify factors and assumptions used in computations.
- Ability to assist with the development of riskbased capital models as well as parameterization and allocation activities to support actuarial services.
- Demonstrate increasing knowledge of relevant actuarial disciplines and procedures and apply this knowledge to achieve business objectives.
