Position Location: Positions are located in Fort Morgan CO; Burlington CO; Limon CO; Wray CO and the MCC Global Classroom.
Employment Specifics: Instructors PartTime hourly as needed.
Note: Parttime instructors must live within the State of Colorado or physically work for MCC at one of our locations to be eligible for hire.
Start Date: Spring 2025
Salary: Salary based on education and experience. This position is not eligible for a benefits package. Employees must be designated at .75 FTE or greater to be eligible for the Colorado Community College System benefit package. Sick leave shall be accrued and granted in accordance with the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act. No relocation assistance is provided.

Art Instructor (Online) Masters degree in fine arts or a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in fine arts from a regionally accredited institution required. Minimum of two years of postsecondary teaching in art or related field. Experience teaching online asynchronous classes. Ability to teach range of art history classes in addition to introductory art appreciation. Auto Technician Instructor (Fort Morgan Limon Bennett or Burlington) Associate degree in automobile repair technician or two 2 years of fulltime equivalent experience may substitute for degree. Must have or be able to obtain a Colorado Career and Technical Education Credential (at least 4000 hours of verifiable paid occupational experience in the last five years). ASE Training/Certificate. Business Instructor (Fort Morgan) Masters degree in Business or related field from a regionally accredited institution Computer expertise in relevant business software programs must have or be able to obtain a Colorado Career and Technical Education postsecondary teaching credential in Business. Must have 2000 hours of verifiable work experience in the business field. Minimum of one 1 year of fulltime or two 2 years of parttime teaching experience in business or a related field. Computer and Networking Technology and Computer Science Instructor (Fort Morgan) Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Information Systems or Computer Information Technology or a masters degree in a related field with 18 graduate credits in Computer Science Computer Information Systems or Computer Information Technology. Must have or be able to obtain a Colorado Career and Technical Education (CTE) Credential (at least 2000 hours of verifiable paid occupational experience in the last five years). Nurse Aide Instructor (Fort Morgan Limon and Bennett) Requires an active unencumbered Colorado R.N. or LPN License with at least two years of nursing experience caring for the elderly and/or chronically ill of any age. Have documented experience in teaching adults or have completed a course in teaching adults or have 1 year managing nurse aides. Be able to be approved as a nurse aide instructor by the Colorado State Board of Nursing. Must have or be able to obtain a current Colorado Career and Technical Education Credential (at least 4000 hours of verifiable paid occupational experience in the last five years). Real Estate Instructor (Fort Morgan & Global) Must hold a current Real Estate License in Colorado and be able to obtain a Colorado Career and Technical Education Credential (at least 4000 hours of related verifiable paid occupational experience in the last 7 years). Preferred: Associate degree in related field. Demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds developing curriculum for real estate and ability to teach in classroom and work with online teaching platform (D2L) for remote learners. RN to BSN Nursing Instructor (Global) Masters Degree in Nursing with a three 3 years of recent experience in professional clinical nursing practice. About Morgan Community College (MCC):
MCC is one of 13 colleges comprising the Colorado Community College System (CCCS). The college has consistently been named a Great College to Work For by the Chronicle of Higher Education in the past decade.
MCC is located on I76 80 miles northeast of Denver and approximately 100 miles east of Rocky Mountain National Park. MCC provides high quality lower division transferable courses and occupational education culminating in a variety of certificate associate and baccalaureate degree programs through traditional innovative and nontraditional delivery methods to an 11500 square mile service area in eastern Colorado.
