Job Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Supervisor to oversee construction projects and lead ateam of skilled workers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities excellentcommunication skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role requireshandson experience in various trades including commercial roofing ensuring that projects arecompleted on time and to the highest standards.
Duties The skilled Roofers will be responsible for the maintenance repairs and installation of roofingsystems. Focusing on repairs and other jobs around Quality Control of our customers roofs. Installation of different types of roofing systems such as EPDM Singleply and other forms of low slope roofing systems Safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools power tools etc. Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety demonstratessafe work practices Climbing and operating on ladders able to handle at least 50 lbs Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews onsite. Communicate with project managers regarding project progress challenges and timelines. Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure adherence to specifications.
Experience Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and construction methods. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction. Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams : $35.00 $45.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per week
