Primoris Distribution Services has an opportunity for a Fusing Trainer in Gainesville GA. The Fusing Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs focused on the fusion of plastic piping systems used in natural gas distribution. This role ensures that field personnel are proficient in fusion techniques adhere to safety protocols and comply with regulatory standards.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Conduct handson training sessions and classroom instruction to certify employees in fusion techniques.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide feedback to ensure skill proficiency and adherence to safety practices.
• Collaborate with operations management to identify training needs and schedule sessions accordingly.
• Maintain accurate training records and certifications in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on industry best practices technological advancements and regulatory changes related to natural gas piping and fusion techniques.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in natural gas operations with a focus on plastic pipe fusion. Prior training or instructional experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proficiency in using fusion equipment
• Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.

Working Conditions:

• Combination of office and field environments; exposure to varying weather conditions during onsite training sessions.
• May require lifting of equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
• Travel to various company locations or job sites as needed.
