Job Description
Nature of Work: Responsible for working in the golf course clubhouse operations. This work includes collecting money for greens fees cart rentals trail fees merchandise and food; directing play off the first tee; answering the telephone and disseminating information; preparing food; cleaning clubhouse and equipment; setting up cart operations; handling ongoing maintenance of golf carts and monitoring play on the course. May exert up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Starting hourly rate $17.35
Required Qualifications: Minimum 18 years of age. Ability to work well with others. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to appropriately deal with the public. Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment. The City offers CPR/AED and First Aid classes which are free to Parks employees.
Preferred Qualifications: Basic knowledge of the game of golf. Past experience operating cash register preparing food and merchandise sales.
