As a Corrections Food Service Instructor you will lead inmate workers and provide instruction using handson vocational training in all areas of the Food Service Department including dining room serving lines main kitchen tasks as well as meat and vegetable preparation. You will also oversee inmates in production and baking. You will inspect all food service areas equipment and food for compliance with established safety and sanitation standards. This role requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships that will enable inmates to learnthe standard principles and practices of food service operations.In addition you will ensurethat meals are prepared and served timely and in accordance with standardized recipes while maintainingproper control over inmates by enforcing custody and security regulations at all times.
