We are seeking a Warehouse Receiving Clerk for a position in Hopewell VA. The Warehouse position receives stores and distributes material tools equipment and products. Nonexempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• Excellent communication interpersonal organizational and problem solving skills
• Some sites may require a forklift certification
• Post offer drug screen and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Group LLC. Drug Alcohol and Contraband Policy
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace
• Computer literacy Google Workspace
• Communication interpersonal organizational and problem solving skills
• Forklift operation experience preferred
• No per diem available local candidates only

Functional Requirements:

Stores removes loads and unloads all types of materials from storage bins pallets and vehicles that cannot be handled by material handling devices Operates manual or mechanical devices and stocks inventory shelves Reads production schedule customer order work order shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved gathered or distributed Assorts and places materials or items on racks shelves or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size type style or color Moves materials and supplies from the warehouse and prepares for delivery Fills requisitions work orders or requests for materials tools or stock items Records material items received or distributed May maintain inventory records Performs routine housekeeping tasks to maintain work area Perform additional assignments per supervisors direction.

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
