An opportunity has arisen for an independent Financial Controller Global Trade based inPoznanPoland. The main purpose of this role is to be a finance professional providing accurate and insightful financial and management information and to maintain an effective control environment within Global Trade operations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of the respective gross margin reports with the collaboration of internal business partners
- Perform review and analyze the monthly marktomarket evaluation of commodity contracts
- Capability to understand and apply to US GAAP accounting standards and ADM policies by completing monthly account work related to fair value measurement (ASC820 / FAS157 inventory valuation (LOCOM / MTM) foreign currency and intercompany reconciliations
- Complete annual review/revision of Key Financial Controls and process flows and work to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls
- Work with relevant business partners to provide insight and analysis into financial results
- Liaise with audit teams both internal and external to ensure successful and timely completion of audit reviews
- Design offers and practices that lead to process improvement and the achievement of departmental goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor or comparable degree in business administration with an emphasis on Controlling Finance or International Trade
- 2 years of experience in finance/accounting
- Advanced English (B2
- Strong analytical abilities initiative and problemsolving skills
- Excellent user knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Independent mode of candoattitude
- Excellent and effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines and adapt quickly to changing business needs
