About the Role

Our client focused on Australias National Security has a requirement for an Enterprise Business Architect for a 12 month contract based onsite in Canberra. This position is responsible for leading design activities and overseeing implementation in alignment with the clients architectural guidance principles. The role supports significant business and technological changes ensuring that all initiatives are in line with strategic objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage allocated resources set work area priorities manage workflows develop strategies and evaluate business outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate completion of work within timeframes and quality requirements sharing expertise and mentoring less experienced employees.
  • Provide clear direction and establish requirements for implementing significant changes in business functions processes organisational roles and ICT service delivery.
  • Monitor compliance between business strategies enterprise transformation activities and technology directions by setting strategies policies standards and practices.
  • Maintain expertise in current ICT systems functionality quality assurance practices and business processes while developing an understanding of emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate and engage with internal and external stakeholders to transfer and collect information and gain consensus on concepts and business domains.
  • Investigate recommend and implement solutions for a range of unpredictable problems participating in the development of strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate financial cultural technological organisational and environmental factors in ICT change programmes.
  • Identify alternative solutions assess feasibility and recommend new approaches to deliver agreed outcomes.

The Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess the following technical skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent ideally in Computer Science or Information Technology Management.
  • Experience in modelling business processes using various tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency with enterprise architecture modelling tools.
