I. Job Summary Major goals and objectives.
Hybrid 3x a week (Seattle WA)
Inoffice Expectations: This position is hybrid inoffice with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.
We are looking for a passionate individual who is eager to learn and can keep up in a fastpaced
environment. The bulk of the work is designing ads in Photoshop/Figma and building the final ads using
DDMs proprietary ad building platform. This candidate should possess the ability to learn quickly;
adopting DDMs internal platform while also providing feedback and suggestions to developers and
senior UX/UI designers to further enhance its functions. The ideal candidate is a selfstarter; someone
who can organize their workflow with minimal supervision. The position entails having to communicate
with client solutions managers and other internal stakeholders to manage timelines to produce and
inform campaign creatives.
To be successful in this role wed expect you to:
- Possess solid design fundamentals (typography layout hierarchy & branding)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to pivot quickly and engage productively with constructive feedback.
- Translate client needs and brand guidelines into captivating ad design.
- Should be detailoriented and able to organize their own workflow.
II. Essential Job Functions
45 Production design
- Execute postproduction of all digital ad display units using HTML builder platforms like Celtra or
- similar.
- Ensure that all of the ads are properly optimized keeping in mind industry standards.
40 Digital Design
- Design digital advertising campaigns while keeping the clients goals and brand guidelines in
- mind
- Keeping up with the latest trends and tools.
10 Collaboration with Activations and Product teams
- Communicate and support project managers to execute ads and use platform components to
- support the clients product objectives.
5 Troubleshooting with Engineers
- Work alongside developers and engineers to troubleshoot and improve the functionality of DDMs
- native platforms.
- Make recommendations for new products and features to enhance the platform.
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements All must be met to be considered.
Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience
Experience: 35 years
Specific Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Figma
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and stakeholders
- distributed across the world.
- Selfmotivated and highlyorganized
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Bonus Skills and Abilities:
- Microsoft Excel/Google Suite
- Basic understanding of CSS & HTML
- Familiarity with Chrome/Safari DevTools
- Basic understanding of UX Design principles and processes
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar product management software

Salary: Washington: $68000 $80000The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Merediths total compensation package for employees.
