The Title I Interventionist is grantfunded through the Title I program and Teacher Vacancy Grant. Thisoneyear role is designed to provide targeted academic support to student subgroups demonstrating the highest need. This educator will work closely with students who are below grade level in reading and/or mathparticularly those receiving special education services English learners and students deemed atrisk. The interventionist will collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to implement evidencebased instructional strategies monitor student progress and help close achievement gaps through small group instruction and individualized support.

COMPENSATION: Per Teacher Salary Schedule based on education and 308 grants experience credit on the salary schedule for up to 10 years of prior verifiable contractual fulltime teaching experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:Qualified applicant must hold a valid/registered Illinois Professional Educator License with Elementary Education (Self Contained General Education)endorsement.

UNION MEMBERSHIP: This position is represented by the Oswego Education Association (OEA).
