About the Role
As the General Manager of D1 Training Toledo youll be the visionary leader behind our facilitys success. Youll oversee daily operations drive sales manage finances and cultivate a highenergy environment where athletes of all levels thrive. This role is perfect for a charismatic resultsoriented professional whos ready to lead by example close deals with confidence and build a legacy in the fitness industry.

Key Responsibilities For the Position:
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of daytoday facility operations including staffing scheduling maintenance and member experience to ensure a seamless worldclass environment.
  • Sales Excellence: Lead all sales efforts from front desk interactions to closing leads achieving a 50 close rate on inperson meetings. Responsibilities include:
    • Assisting with member progress checkins to build lasting relationships
    • Setting up new memberships in POS System
    • Collecting and processing payments efficiently
    • Providing front desk and recruiting sales support and information
    • Promoting member retention
    • Leading and implementing special events to boost engagement
    • Managing the entire sales pipeline
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage the facilitys P&L collaborating with ownership in monthly meetings to review budget vs. actuals line by line to maximize profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and develop a highperforming team through weekly 1on1s staff meetings and accountability measures that drive business growth. Be the first one in and last one out setting the tone for excellence.
  • Member Experience: Deliver the signature D1 experience to every individual from youth athletes to professionals ensuring every interaction is personalized and impactful.
  • Community Engagement: Build partnerships and execute marketing strategies to grow membership and establish D1 Toledo as a fitness cornerstone in the community.
Key Skills Required
  • SALES: A proven closer who can convert 50 of leads from day one with a passion for outselling the competition and driving revenue.
  • LEADERSHIP: A confident firstinlastout leader who thrives under pressure excels at weekly 1on1s and staff meetings and inspires a team to achieve ambitious goals.
  • FINANCE: Skilled at managing a facilitys P&L with the ability to analyze budgets vs. actuals in monthly ownership reviews to ensure financial success.
This General Manager Can Expect:
  • Lead a vibrant fun team that knows how to work hard play hard and celebrate big wins together.
  • Facilitate weekly staff meetings sharing critical data and KPIs and rallying your team to take action on gamechanging initiatives.
  • Be accountable for an annual budget tracking revenue overhead COGS and more in highimpact financial meetings.

Qualifications
  • Associate Degree at minimum preferred but will make exceptions for experience.
  • 3 years of management experience in fitness retail or a related industry.
  • Exceptional sales skills with a track record of outperforming targets.
  • Knowledge of gym and retail operations with a knack for creating efficient systems.
  • Infectious positivity high energy and a cando attitude that inspires others.
  • A leader who leads by example arriving first and leaving last.
