Description
ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR IN ART SCULPTURE
Instructor needed to teach a 100 level introductory sculpture class and/or 300 level wood sculpture studio the 100 level class students are introduced to 3D forms in various materials including wood clay plaster and metals. The instructor will support students as they develop technical fundamentals and the critical aesthetic skills of sculpture. In the 300 level wood sculpture studio class the instructor supports students as they conceptualize and create sculptural objects using wood as a primary material while gaining experience using hand and power tools and learning techniques including joining laminating fabricating and carving.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum qualifications of an MFA MA or equivalent professional experience.
