As a Security Officer 1 at the Southwestern Veterans Center you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our veterans. The Southwestern Veterans Center prides itself on delivering exceptional care to veterans and their spouses.
As a Security Officer 1 your primary responsibility will be to monitor the facility and safeguard it against various potential threats including fire unauthorized individuals and other risks. This role entails ensuring the security of several buildings on the premises and effectively responding to any emergencies that may occur. Additionally you will assist visitors patrol the grounds and provide transportation for residents. Your duties will also include conducting investigations which involve collecting evidence and interviewing victims witnesses and suspects. This aspect of the role is crucial for maintaining safety and addressing any incidents that may arise. You will collaborate with a team of professional staff playing a vital role in fostering a secure environment for residents employees and visitors.
