Job Description

Position Summary
The College of Allied Health Professions CAHP at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is seeking candidates for a fulltime 12month faculty position in the entrylevel Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program on the Omaha campus. The mission of the Program is to advance health through meaningful participation in everyday living for all people and communities. Themes in this hybrid curriculum emphasize occupation for health professional growth and knowledge translation. UNMC has stateoftheart simulation facilities and many opportunities for interprofessional collaboration. The faculty member will engage in teaching scholarship and service including mentoring students in scholarly projects and during their capstone. Preference will be given to applicants with content expertise in adult physical rehabilitation.

Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will: Be an Occupational therapist with NBCOT certification. Be licensed or eligible for licensure in Nebraska. Have a minimum of three years of occupationcentered practice. Hold a professional doctoral degree from an accredited institution. Be able to provide evidence of professional service. Have experience in student mentoring. Know content delivery methods including distance education. Possess networking team collaboration communication and problemsolving skills. Hold a valid drivers license.
