Job Description
THE POSITION
If you have experience in facilities management and are looking to advance your career the Department of Corrections (DOC) is currently seeking a Corrections Facility Maintenance Manager 3 to join our amazing team at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Phoenix. In this role you will be responsible for performing specialized tasks and managing a team with enthusiasm energy and selfmotivation. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Corrections Facility Maintenance Manager 3 you will oversee the maintenance and repairs at SCI Phoenix. You will provide supervision to facility maintenance and trade staff ensuring the facility is wellmaintained. You will be tasked with reviewing reports and observing the facility to prioritize preventive maintenance construction projects and workload. Your responsibilities will also include having a written plan for the preventative maintenance of the physical plant which should include provisions for emergency repairs and replacements in lifethreatening situations. Although construction projects are important they will not take precedence over the primary function of the facility.

- Fulltime employment 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.Schedule may change as operationally necessary.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Facility Maintenance Manager 2(Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration);or
- Two years as a Facility Maintenance Manager 1(Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of experience as a Utilities Supervisor(Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration);or
- Seven years of experience in the construction maintenance or repair of buildings; or the operation maintenance and repair of utility services equipment including four years in a managerial or supervisory capacity; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown PA is required.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
