Were excited to announce an opportunity for an HR Compliance and Workflow Consultantto join our dynamic People Services team in Bolton on a fulltime permanent basis. This newly created role offers you the chance to make a real impact by working collaboratively across our teams to streamline and enhance our operational processes. Youll play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory audit requirements in SCALA while efficiently managing workflows in MyWorkday to ensure our customers receive timely responses. In addition youll be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance of our People Services outputs and identifying opportunities for training and upskilling. At AXA we work smart empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them their team and our customers. Youll work at least 40 of your week away from home moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations visiting clients or attending industry also happy to consider flexible working arrangements which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What youll be doing:

  • Collaborate with GIA Internal Audit and KPMG to support departmentwide audits with a 12month plan.
  • Conduct call audits to ensure quality responses and legal compliance.
  • Manage the complaints process selfaudits and GDPR data breaches.
  • Promote departmental learning through elearning and act as the compliance liaison for People Services.
  • Triage cases in the HELP system and align services with SOPs.
  • Handle exception reporting generate MyWorkday reports and optimize R drive for best practices.
  • Scope digitalization and AI initiatives to address future technological needs.
  • Establish a structured working framework with regular reporting and organize Town Hall meetings for stakeholder engagement.

What youll bring:

  • Previous experience within HR compliance together with an understanding of internal and external audits.
  • Skilled in dashboard reporting and data visualisation.
  • Sound understanding of Data Protection principles and associated risks.
  • Demonstrates risk awareness and understands the impact of risks.
  • Experience in implementing service and process improvements.
  • Proven experience in managing senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Visio Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Computer literate with a good grasp of IT tools and Microsoft applications showing accuracy and efficiency in updating HR systems.
  • Knowledge of the Data Protection Act FCA Regulations SM&CR Right to Work and Home Office Systems would be advantageous.

As a precondition of employment for this role you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
