Qualifications for Position:
- MUST be a current Covenant College student.
- Student should be familiar with and ideally pursuing a career in the sports industry.
- Familiarity with social media graphics and video is preferred.
- Competent with email Google Sheets and Google Docs.
- Selfmotivated and responsible for completing work on time.
- Reliable dependable trustworthy.
- Required Education: This is an entrylevel position designed to assist students in developing and strengthening skills related to employment.
Preferred Education: Sport Management Major or Minor at least have taken SPM 205
Expected Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works closely with Professor Kourmoulis on a variety of tasks related to the sport management program.
- Assists with content creation and posting on sport management Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Collaborates on experiential learning trips and event planning for the program.
- Aids in grading lowstakes assignments for Sport Management classes.
- Providing outstanding service to various groups related to the sport management program (students clubs faculty alumni outside connections etc.
- Providing daytoday administrative and office support for Sport Management.
- Communicating effectively as directed via telephone email and in facetoface settings.
- Completing a diverse set of tasks designed to develop and strengthen knowledge and skills related to employment in a professional environment.
- Demonstrating a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Ability and endurance necessary to work the hours needed to complete the job.
- Attendance at all mandatory meetings.
- Regular attendance.
- Must be able to work during the day. Hours are flexible around class and practice schedules but all hours will be worked between the business departments office hours: 8 am 5 pm.
