SUMMARY
Assists with the development coordination and implementation of the Clubs yearround junior tennis programs. Promotes and follows LJBTC Inc.s Signature Service standards and requirements ensuring a lasting impression of exemplary service resulting in supremely satisfied and loyal members and guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seasonal Ladders
Minimum of four Junior Tennis Festivals each year
Clinics in conjunction with the USTAs USA Tennis Program
Junior Clinics for all ages and ability levels
Afterschool tennis program
Workout sessions for advanced players
Minimum of one Junior Tennis Tournament each year
Coordination of League Play for Juniors
Maintenance of a Junior Tennis Activities Board
Ongoing tracking of the program
OUTCOME
The Junior Tennis Assistant will create positive member and guest impressions of the total organization by developing and implementing a variety of tennisoriented activities for children which are fun creative active and costeffective. Satisfied children make satisfied parents as well as potential future members and apartment guests.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree (B.A. or equivalent in education or related industry required; or minimum of three years related experience and/or training in equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in English before guests children parents managers or employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS
Must be a USPTA Certified Professional. Must also obtain and maintain current CPR & First Aid Training Card. (CPR/FirstAid Training to be provided by employer.

While performing the duties of this job the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
INTERACTION
While performing the duties of this job the employee will interact frequently with the adult members and apartment guests as well as the children of members hotel guests and nonmembers. This employee will also interact frequently with the membership services staff tennis pro & tennis shop staff front desk staff catering staff and property service employees as well as occasional interaction with the housekeeping and engineering staffs. The employee must have the ability to communicate and work effectively with both internal and external customers mentioned.
SCHEDULING
This company operates seven days a week 24 hours a day. At times it may be necessary to move you from your accustomed shift if business or task assignments demand. In addition it should be understood that business needs determine the number of hours that you work.
