Summary
Provide Estimating within Halls Paving Division.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions:
- Oversee projects from the bid phase to preconstruction
- Prepare and review estimates for site projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously maintain a high level of organization in order to meet critical deadlines.
- Meet and assist in developing customer relationship.
- Primary liaison between Hall Contracting and the project owners representatives.
- Able to work both independently and with parts of the estimating/project management team.
- Promote a safe work site for each project.
- Update weekly/monthly project schedules.
- Abide by Company Safety Program and Polices in performing duties safely.
- Communicate update and report to the Paving Division Manager.
Experience/Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in civil construction. Effectively managing the entire bid process from bid to billing
Education
- Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Physical Demands
Must be able to sit for extended periods at a time climb or balance stoop kneel or crouch daily. The employee must be able to walk and/or stand on their feet throughout the entire day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to use proper personal protection equipment.
