Oats Overnight is changing the way people eat breakfast and since launching in 2016 our high protein spoonfree oatmeal has been enjoyed by overcustomers. We are scaling quickly in both directtoconsumer and retail with the goal of becoming a household brand. We have endtoend control of all phases of the business producing and fulfilling the product inhouse which is extremely rare for companies our size. This allows us to create new flavors and products quickly and is a tremendous advantage for our brand were able to give customers a behindthescenes look at what we do highlighting our people and process in content. Being vertically integrated also enables us to incorporate customers directly in the development process.

Whats The Job
As a maintenance technician at Oats Overnight your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities and equipment. Your role will involve performing both preventative and corrective maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

As a maintenance technician at Oats Overnight your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities and equipment. Your role will involve performing both preventative and corrective maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
What Youll Be Doing Stop Scanning and Read This Part
- Conduct routine inspections troubleshooting and maintenance of production equipment
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality cleanliness and safety of the facility
- Identify and resolve mechanical electrical and plumbing issues to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report any potential issues
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and malfunctions promptly
- Diagnose problems analyze root causes and carry out necessary repairs or replacements
- Ensure compliance with safety and food safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities
- Identify and address potential hazards or unsafe conditions promptly
- Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams; communicate equipment status maintenance schedules and updates to relevant stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
What Youve Done And Who You Are
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training is a plus
- Experience as a maintenance or facilities technician preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment
- Experience and desire to support a culture built on collaboration sharing of ideas and celebration of success as well as drive for positive outcomes with crossfunctional teams
- Able to make decisions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Have a working knowledge of at least two of the following: Welding Machining Plumbing Pipefitting Electricity
- Able to read and understand blueprints drawings mechanical diagrams and electrical schematics
- Electrical/ladder logic skills
- Understanding of electric motors starters switches photocells etc.
- Familiarity with CMMS work order systems
- Ability to write parts requests complete work orders and write corrective work orders
- Understanding of preventive maintenance
- Food manufacturing background a plus with an understanding of FDA requirements
- Ability to always follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Computer literacy
- Must be able to read and write English
- PLC skills a plus

Physical Demands
- Lift tools machinery parts and other objects weighing up to 80 lbs. each assistance available if needed
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 1075 lbs.
- Endure intermittent bending crouching pushing pulling stooping and reaching
- Standing for an extended periods of time
- Able to work under extreme conditions such as hot or cold temperatures noise dust and dirt
- Frequently required to stand walk stoop kneel squat climb crouch or crawl
- Must be able to work near food ingredients exposure to food allergens
- Location: inside an airconditioned manufacturing and warehouse environment
- You must be able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards
- You must be able to maintain regular punctual attendance consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards
