Job Summary:
The Raytheon Financial Accounting organization has an opening for a Senior Analyst Accounting & Controllership. The position is an excellent opportunity for a selfmotivated financial analyst with strong analytical skills to gain valuable experience at the Business Unit Headquarters level. The selected team member will develop an understanding of Raytheon accounting structures and systems. The position will be responsible for general accounting support including journal entry preparation balance sheet account reconciliations and ad hoc analysis. Other areas of exposure include flux analysis audit deliverables and other accounting and financialrelated activities.
What You Will Do:
Prepare schedules for Financial Reporting and Tax
Ensuring compliance with key internal control procedures
Reviewing preparing and posting manual journal entries requests
Assist with audit requests
Perform monthly quarterly and annual flux analysis and reports
Analyzing Balance Sheet accounts and reconciliations
Participate in special projects and analysis
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in finance Accounting Math Business or a related field and 2 years relevant financial/accounting experience.
Experience with SAP Analysis for Office MS Excel or similar financial systems.
U.S. Citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Understanding of RTX financial and accounting policies and procedures
Selfstarter with the ability to take the initiative and ownership of assignments and desire to improve processes.
Experience interfacing and conducting business with various disciplines
Selfguided selfmotivated and highly organized and team player
Ability to explain balances purpose of accounts and identify inconsistencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize effectively
Experience in DoD or Aerospace industry
Effective pleasant and businesslike interpersonal skills

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
