DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Fiscal Management Specialist 2 you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the Inmate General Welfare Fund (IGWF). Your work will involve processing reviewing analyzing and reporting financial information. Additionally you will provide guidance and oversight to accounting staff located at 12 state correctional institutions ensuring that proper accounting practices are followed for the IGWF. Your expertise and attention to detail will be vital in ensuring the financial stability and integrity of the IGWF.

- Fulltime employment 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) parttime 3 days a week reporting to the office 2 days a week. In order to telework you must have a securely configured highspeed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 1(Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration);or
- One year of experience in professional fiscal administration and a bachelors degree in business administration accounting finance economics or a related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown PA is required.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
