Endocrinology Cedar Rapids IA
Fulltime MondayFriday 8am5pm
Opportunity to become Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)
As a Specialty Clinic RN in Endocrinology you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team collaborating with physicians nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with endocrine disorders. Your role will involve direct patient care education and coordination of services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Perform patient assessments and assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Educate patients and families on disease management lifestyle modifications and medication adherence.
Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and community resources.
Document patient information accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to regulatory standards.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current RN license in the state of Iowa.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
Previous experience in an ambulatory or specialty care setting preferred.
