DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role you will be responsible for reviewing processing and approving license renewal applications and related documentation in support of the selective liquor licensing program administered by the PLCB for our retail and wholesale alcohol licensees. Responsibilities involve examining and evaluating applications for different types of licenses and permits as mandated by the Liquor Code subsequent amendments and by the adoption of Board regulations precedents and policies controlling the manufacture purchase transportation storage delivery sale and consumption of liquor alcohol and malt or brewed beverages.
Organization and time management skills are key for this role in addition to acquiring and effectively applying a working knowledge of the Liquor Code covering the requirements for the different types of licenses and permits Board regulations precedents and policies pertaining thereto as well as all applications fees and supporting papers. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday Friday with a 60minute lunch. Work hours may be negotiable.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) parttime up to four days per week. In order to telework you must have a securely configured highspeed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of clerical experience supporting a legal licensing or other regulatory program requiring the application of statutes program policies or industry regulations and graduation from high school; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a casebycase basis.
