The Marketing & Recognition Coordinator (Program Project Specialist 2 will provide support with employee engagement initiatives ensuring that all program projects enhance and build the image of the employee engagement program. This position is responsible for a wide range of project activities to coordinate and track all critical and time sensitive actions received from internal and external stakeholders; reviews and edits documents for correct format and content; participates in meetings and special projects concerning fiscal control and resource management; prepares various memorandums and correspondence.
This position may be available for remote work within Arizona (two days per week in the office/hoteling.

All work including remote work should be performed within Arizona unless an exception is properly authorized in advance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Participates in the conceptualization of design solutions that meet promotion strategiesfrom concept to completion.
Assists to create dynamic engagement tools for traditional promotion channels to capturetimely strategic employee engagement stories.
Responsible for a wide range of project activities to coordinate and tracks all critical andtime sensitive actions received from internal and external stakeholders.
Performs research assist with written content edits and produces a variety of electronicmedia including digital content videos presentations and feature articles throughcollaboration with key engagement stakeholders.
Consults with appropriate personnel regarding program goals objectives accountabilityand delivery of services.
Coordinates multijurisdictional planning efforts to promote priorities includingsupporting specific goals/objective.
Develops and maintains a centralized promotion calendar for employee engagementactivities to include spotlight articles and email campaigns.
Assists in managing the full life cycle creative content data segmentation and reportinganalysis.
Streamlining of project details from start to finish providing recommendations forcreative direction.
Collaborating and contributing to the employee engagement weekly newsletter andtargeted email campaigns assembling content and tracking results.
Compile statistical data to formulate initiate and prepare reports and research projects.
Maintain and improves the effectiveness of the employee engagement website working with the Office of Communications as needed.
Manage and coordinate special projects associated with internal training such as New Employee Orientation and Lean initiatives.
Provides planning to a stimulate interest and action among key engagement stakeholders to develop execute and monitor strategic promotion initiatives.
Knowledge of:
Concepts of program planning and design; federal and state laws regulations policies that govern the program administration.
Computer software programs: Google Workspace and Adobe Creative Suite programs Photoshop Illustrator InDesign and digital management tools. Leadership principles and practices.
Data and statistical analysis and reports.
Strategy and program goal development. Continuous improvement efforts.
Skills in:
Completing difficult analytic work; written and verbal communication; evaluating and presenting information gathering and summarizing data for reports measuring success through data aggregation
Composting includes creating and maintaining spreadsheet reports and correspondence while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Key tasks involve enhancing operational effectiveness preparing reports coordinating administrative matters and interpreting organizational rules. Additionally problemsolving prioritizing workflow and proofreading engaging content are essential activities.
Key principles and techniques for planning studies and projects include using technology such as internet applications and productivity software like Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative. Its also essential to build effective relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to:
Provide effective guidance and expertise in the development and implementation of programs and projects in the area of assignment.
A. Respond to internal and external customers with tact diplomacy accuracy and timely information.
A. Retrieve research and interpret data from various reporting tools or systems; and use proper discretion in handling confidential and/or sensitive information.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
Bachelors degree in Communications Journalism Multimedia Marketing Public Relations or Business from an accredited college.
Three 3 years of professional level Executive Assistant/Marketing Coordinator responsibilities with senior level management; creative design and marketing campaigns or an equivalent combination of experience training and/or education.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business then the following requirements apply: Drivers License Requirements. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid classappropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license record checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C. R210207.11.
Successfully pass background and reference check; employment is contingent upon completion of the abovementioned process and the Agencys ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.

State employees are required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) the State sponsored retirement contribution plan and the LongTerm Disability (LTD) program after a 27week waiting period.
