COMPLETIONMANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Directs and manages the strategic installations of aircraft completions requirements. Mentors entry to midlevel leads and technicians to ensurethe overall timeliness and accuracy of highquality VIP aircraft completionsinstallation while adhering to the project budget. Requires cohesivecoordination and communication with project supervisors to ensure thatproduction targets are aligned with the overall project plan for each assignedaircraft completion. The installation manager will be focused on continuousimprovement to drive excellence in accountability and by example to ensure the department and its employees maintain the higheststandards of safety quality schedule and profitability.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Support the development of department specific reportssuch as aircraft completion schedule and manpower requirements broken down byproject or daily work plans.
2.Conduct weeklydepartment production meetings with team members to support monitor and trackthe completion of production targets and aircraft status
3.Verify that allequipment documentation and labor necessary to achieve established productiontargets are always available in the department.
4.Ensure therequired engineering documentation work instructions and IOPs are availablecurrent and being utilized by technicians.
5.Plan and approvethe work scope milestones timeline and interdisciplinary activity for theoverall project Ensuring appropriately qualified personnel.
6.Promote a justreporting culture as part of a safety management system.
7.Responsible forearly identification and tracking of critical path/mass activities andappropriate escalation to resolve and unblock engineering material or otherconstraints
8.Monitor upstreaminputs and metrics/ deliverables to minimize risk and maintain scheduleadherence.
9.Monitor andreport performance efficiency and earned value to ensure overall project planis maintained within schedule and budget plan and be proactive to reduce risks.
10. Plans develops and communicates installation strategy to promote continuousimprovement philosophies and concepts.
11. Develops communicates and enforces qualitystandards.
12. Performs other relatedduties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION EXPERIENCE LICENSES ETC:
REQUIREDSKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1.Must havedemonstrated: leadership ability; business acumen; initiative; ability to workas a team player; ability to deliver results;ability to make decisions that support companyobjectives/policies.
2. Must have demonstrated knowledge of lean production as it relatesto an aircraft completions operation.
3.Proficient in the use of MS products ProjectOutlook Word ExcelPowerPoint etc. Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Project aplus.
4.Excellent verbaland written skills to include strong interpersonal skills and the ability topersuade others without creatingadversarial relationships. Overcomescommunication barriers. Organizes and presents information effectively to large groups in publicsettings
5.Leads managesand motivates othersto perform at a highlevel.

The location where this position works is in an aircraft hangarenvironment which is subject to weather changes constant exposure to loudnoise potential contact with hazardous waste material and other safety hazardssuch as aircraft steps interior components: divans chairs other cabinetsetc.
