Your Mission
As our Finance Manager youll take full ownership of finance operations and ensure we meet high standards of compliance accuracy and internal control. Youll be responsible for the smooth running of core processes like payables receivables payroll and statutory reporting while supporting audit tax and regulatory requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to continue to build the financial backbone of a fastmoving company and play a key role in scaling the business responsibly.
Things you will be working on
Finance Operations
Oversee daytoday finance operations including accounts payable accounts receivable expense management and bank reconciliations
Manage relationships with our external accountant and payroll provider
Ensure timely and accurate monthly quarterly and annual close of the management accounts
Maintain uptodate ledgers and reconciliations to support internal and external reporting
Compliance & Control
Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with auditors for yearend processes
Ensure tax filings (VAT corporation tax PAYE) are submitted accurately and on time
Maintain and improve financial controls accounting policies and risk frameworks
Ensure financial compliance with UK accounting standards (UK GAAP) and regulatory requirements
Process & System Improvements
Help implement and maintain financial systems and tools as and when needed
Streamline financial workflows and documentation to improve efficiency and audit readiness
Support contract review from a finance and billing perspective to ensure alignment with revenue recognition and cost management
Crossfunctional Partnering
Partner with People Ops on payroll benefits and compensation processes
Provide finance input into operational and commercial processes as needed
Work with the management team to execute and refine out budgeting and tracking processes
This role will be a great fit if you
Have at least 24 years experience in a similar role ideally in a highgrowth SaaS or technology business
Have strong grounding in core finance operations and UK compliance requirements
Are part or fully qualified accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA) preferred
Are confident managing external providers and ensuring quality in outsourced processes
Have familiarity with cloudbased finance tools like Xero Dext Spendesk Chargebee or similar
Are highly organised processdriven and able to work independently in a fastpaced environment
Are comfortable balancing handson work with strategic process development
