Minimum Qualifications
Adjuncts teaching undergraduate courses in special education have a masters degree in special education or closely related field from an accredited institution. Adjuncts teaching graduate level courses must have a doctoral degree in special education or closely related field from an accredited institution. Adjunct faculty interested in teaching masters level research methods courses must have at least a doctoral degree in special education education psychology or closely related field from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications for special education courses is at least two years of teaching experience in schools working directly with students with disabilities.
