As a SeniorRadiographer at our hospital youll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) be registered with the HCPC have a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally youll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately.
As a SeniorRadiographer youwill:
See each patient as an individual offering understanding and empathy
Deliver a highquality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload in the department on the ward and in theatre
Work with leading practitioners and cuttingedge practices equipment and facilities
Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
Supervise and develop junior colleagues
Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital.
The Exeter Nuffield hospital is based next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford Exeter. The hospital has 2 theatres as well as a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre and an Endoscopy suite. There are two ward areas: an inpatient area with 21 beds and a daycase ward with 12 beds. We also have a busy outpatient department pharmacy physiotherapy and radiology department including an MRI scanner. We specialise in elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery cardiology including invasive procedures general surgery plastics and cosmetic surgery ENT and gynaecology. The Hospital has a MAKO robot that undertakes some of the joint replacement surgery which we have become well known for in this field of surgery.
