Summary of position: The primary purpose of this position is to direct and supervise the operational activities of the hotels front desk within corporate and hotel guidelines to provide the highest standards of courteous service while permitting acceptable profit levels. Handle cash make change and balance an assigned house bank count cash and other methods of payment at the end of the shift to verify and balance the house bank and accept and record vouchers travelers checks and other forms of payment. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff and observe performance and encourage improvement.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent GED; degree in hospitality or related field of study preferred
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills communication skills and problemsolving skills
Previous experience as a hotel manager assistant manager or customer service manager required
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills communication skills and problemsolving skills
Proven customer service experience as a manager; strong guestfocused mentality
State Alcohol & Food Certification required or ability to obtain one.
