Job Description

Our client a specialist in manufacturing of tissue paper and other related products is seeking to appoint a Key Account Manager to effectively build and maintain a strong relationship with Clients.

The Key Account Manager will also bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential clients.


Purpose of Role:

Location:
Phoenix Industrial Park

Industry: Exposure to Tissue/ Paper manufacturing environment will be advantageous

Availability Immediate

Education and experience requirements
  • Must have Grade 12 Matric or NQF4 equivalent qualification.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification / Diploma /other
  • The completion of a project management related course will be advantageous
  • At least 5 years sales and customer service experience or within a similar role in a fastpaced environment
  • Exposure to Tissue/ Paper manufacturing environment will be advantageous
  • Own vehicle
  • A clear criminal record

Skills and competency requirements
  • Experience in managing a client database with facetoface interaction
  • Ability to critically analyse situations and have a keen interest in technical operations
  • Good planning and time management skills is essential
  • Must have sound communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and welldeveloped decisionmaking abilities is essential
  • Excellent computer knowledge (All MS Office Packages)
  • The ability to multitask and to work independently under pressure
  • Knowledge of sales or activity reports
  • Must have a track record of highperformance standards and have a culture of discipline instilled
  • Must be able to work flexible hours from time to time in order to meet client expectations
Responsibilities
  • New Business development negotiating with clients for trading terms
  • Meeting all clients needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
  • Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management
  • Maintain sound relations with all clients by developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company
  • Resolving key client issues and complaints
  • Developing a complete understanding of key account needs
  • Anticipating key account changes and improvements
  • Keeping abreast with the market trends
  • Track all work through the production process to ensure client deadlines are met
  • Provide account management services to clients including planning and organising of production schedules.
  • Recommendation of system and process improvement as and when required
  • Adherence to all guidelines and standards relating the key accounts management function
