Our client a specialist in manufacturing of tissue paper and other related products is seeking to appoint a Key Account Manager to effectively build and maintain a strong relationship with Clients.
The Key Account Manager will also bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential clients.

Education and experience requirements - Must have Grade 12 Matric or NQF4 equivalent qualification.
- A relevant tertiary qualification / Diploma /other
- The completion of a project management related course will be advantageous
- At least 5 years sales and customer service experience or within a similar role in a fastpaced environment
- Exposure to Tissue/ Paper manufacturing environment will be advantageous
- Own vehicle
- A clear criminal record
Skills and competency requirements - Experience in managing a client database with facetoface interaction
- Ability to critically analyse situations and have a keen interest in technical operations
- Good planning and time management skills is essential
- Must have sound communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving and welldeveloped decisionmaking abilities is essential
- Excellent computer knowledge (All MS Office Packages)
- The ability to multitask and to work independently under pressure
- Knowledge of sales or activity reports
- Must have a track record of highperformance standards and have a culture of discipline instilled
- Must be able to work flexible hours from time to time in order to meet client expectations
Responsibilities - New Business development negotiating with clients for trading terms
- Meeting all clients needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
- Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management
- Maintain sound relations with all clients by developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company
- Resolving key client issues and complaints
- Developing a complete understanding of key account needs
- Anticipating key account changes and improvements
- Keeping abreast with the market trends
- Track all work through the production process to ensure client deadlines are met
- Provide account management services to clients including planning and organising of production schedules.
- Recommendation of system and process improvement as and when required
- Adherence to all guidelines and standards relating the key accounts management function
