Job Description
A dedicated and knowledgeable Physics Teacher is sought by a wellregarded Independent coeducational school in Islington. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 4 and potentially 5 with the fundamental principles of physics and its applications in the world around them.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Physics Teacher lessons to students across Key Stages 3 4 and potentially 5.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE and ALevel Physics examinations ensuring a thorough understanding of core concepts.
- Foster a stimulating and inquirybased learning environment that encourages scientific exploration and critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Physics providing clear and constructive feedback to enhance their learning journey.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physics or Science with a strong Physics background.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Physics at the secondary level including ALevel teaching experience being desirable.
- A strong and comprehensive knowledge of physical principles and effective teaching methodologies relevant to the subject.
- Excellent communication skills capable of explaining complex scientific ideas clearly and engagingly to a diverse range of learners.
