Job Description
An Independent Mixed school in Enfield is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher for a permanent fulltime position commencing in September. The successful Maths Teacher will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop a strong foundation in mathematics and appreciate its realworld applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging Maths Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 catering to diverse learning styles.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Mathematics examinations ensuring a deep understanding of key concepts and techniques.
- Cultivate a supportive and challenging classroom environment that fosters confidence and problemsolving skills in mathematics.
- Assess and monitor student progress in maths providing clear and constructive feedback as a Maths Teacher.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the mathematics curriculum and the creation of engaging resources.
- Encourage student participation in mathematical challenges and extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Mathematics.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching Mathematics at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4.
- A strong and comprehensive knowledge of mathematical concepts and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills capable of explaining complex ideas clearly and engagingly as a Maths Teacher.
- Ability to motivate and support students of varying abilities in their study of mathematics.
- A commitment to collaborative work and a supportive ethos within the mathematics department.
