The successful Computing Teacher will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop strong computational thinking and digital literacy skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver stimulating Computing Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 covering programming data science and digital technologies.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Computer Science examinations and practical assessments.
- Foster a creative and problemsolving environment where students can explore the world of computer science.
- Assess and monitor student progress in computing providing constructive and informative feedback as a Computing Teacher.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Computer Science or Computing.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching Computing at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4.
- A strong and comprehensive understanding of programming languages algorithms and computer systems.
