Job Description

A thoughtful and engaging Sociology Teacher is sought by a progressive Independent school in Barnet to inspire students in Key Stages 4 and 5. You will encourage critical thinking and discussion.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver stimulating Sociology lessons to Key Stages 4 and 5.
  • Prepare students for examinations in Sociology.
  • Cultivate a classroom environment for debate and analysis.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Sociology specialism.
  • Experience teaching Sociology at secondary level including ALevel.
  • Strong academic background in Sociology.
